Open Source AI Solutions Signature ClearML today announced the launch of DeleteGPT, a secure, enterprise-grade generative AI platform. The primary goal of the platform is to empower organizations to securely and efficiently deploy and use next-generation large language models (LLMs) at scale.

The company claims its hallmark is the customization of LLMs to align with a company’s specific data, operating seamlessly within its network and ensuring comprehensive intellectual property (IP) protection, compliance and knowledge. The tool allows companies to harness the power of LLMs similar to ChatGPT, improving their operations by using AI to drive innovation, productivity and efficiency.

ClearGPT aims to enable organizations to accelerate internal and external product development, outperform competitors, and help generate new revenue streams.

“Our new platform is a direct replacement for [an] LLM chat interface (like ChatGPT) for enterprise companies. It allows companies to control and model AI directly from their organizational data without losing any AI-as-a-service capability,” Moses Guttmann, co-founder and CEO of ClearML, told VentureBeat. “Businesses can use ClearGPT to implement their model as an API, embed it in their internal applications, or integrate it into their workflow.”

According to Guttmann, the platform securely handles the entire end-to-end workflow at scale. This includes the secure collection of internal business data from sources like SharePoint, Google Drive, or Slack. Clients can then choose a model, train the data, and move to the QA phase to test and evaluate the model’s quality.

The platform also ensures that trained models have the same access rights as the original data, creating a secure business environment. This preserves privacy and access control, allowing companies to harness the power of AI without compromising data security.

“ClearGPT handles the entire end-to-end AI model development and deployment process within the organization’s secure network. This means data is not passed to a third-party company or provider, and internal data access privileges are maintained,” Guttmann told VentureBeat. “This process ensures that companies retain 100% ownership of the data and any AI created from it, unlike other generative AI-as-a-service solutions.”

Mitigate ChatGPT concerns for safe generative AI adoption

The company said that the inherent limitations of existing solutions, such as ChatGPT, have hindered the widespread adoption of LLM in the enterprise. Concerns around security, performance, cost, data governance, and customization have prevented organizations from realizing the full potential of LLMs within the safe confines of their business. ClearGPT is intended to directly address these challenges and remove the associated risks.

The use of public APIs to access generative AI models and xGPT solutions has left organizations vulnerable to data leaks and privacy breaches. ClearGPT offers a solution by providing a secure environment within the organization’s network, ensuring complete control and eliminating the possibility of data leakage.

“For an organization to comply with ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR and other compliance standards, it must refrain from sharing its customers’ confidential information and their sensitive data,” Guttmann told VentureBeat. “Unfortunately, when it comes to AI as a service, there is no control over the type of data that is transferred outside of the company. This means that maintaining compliance is challenging. ClearGPT’s design ensures that no company leaks private internal data, and companies can continue to provide the level of privacy their customers expect.”

Guttmann explained that companies could achieve dynamic AI capabilities by building AI models using internal data and maintaining a continuous flow of new data for model training. This approach ensures that AI models have access to the latest version of the organization’s data.

Training and deployment of AI models occur within the company’s secure network, and the ClearGPT platform ensures that customers retain full ownership of any models developed and refined on the platform.

“We make sure that competitors never have access to the capabilities that you are developing in-house,” Guttman said. “ClearGPT is fully customizable for the company’s unique use cases and can be easily integrated with any business application. We designed ClearGPT as low code to enable rapid internal adoption by CxOs, business units, and knowledge workers, so there’s no AI expertise. [is] necessary.”

Addressing the performance and cost challenges of enterprise AI

Guttmann believes that existing xGPT solutions have always posed challenges in performance and cost. He said that GPT performance in these solutions typically remains opaque and unchangeable. By contrast, ClearGPT excels by providing real-time feedback and extensive customization options, while significantly reducing operating costs.

“We offer the unique advantage of continually improving the performance of our basic models internally, ensuring model responses based on up-to-date data and your feedback. [This is] unlike other solutions, where their GPT performance remains fixed and cannot be improved because they are dealing with outdated and inaccurate data,” added Guttmann.

Additionally, the platform supports enterprise-level LLMs, regardless of the types of models being used. This eliminates the risks and burdens associated with costly and time-consuming maintenance and overhead. As a tangible example, organizations could seamlessly implement an enterprise chat agent capable of effectively addressing complex queries using a mix of internal and external business data.

“Our solution allows you to power an enterprise chat agent that answers even the most complex questions based on internal and external business data,” said Guttmann. “ClearGPT allows companies to combine multiple data sources into a single AI model. By doing so, you give the model direct access to numerous data signals and information. This allows any new AI request to infer and correlate hidden connections between data sources and deliver new business insights that would otherwise be non-trivial or impossible to correlate with current enterprise data tools or dashboards.”

What’s next for ClearML?

Guttmann strongly believes that ClearGPT will spearhead a revolutionary transformation in the enterprise AI landscape, as the platform enables companies to effortlessly develop AI-driven automated processes that would have seemed like science fiction just a few years ago.

He said these advances are achieved while ensuring complete control and ownership of the data and models.

“Businesses will be able to use ClearGPT to drive innovation, productivity and efficiency at scale and develop new internal and external products faster and at reduced costs, outpace the competition and create new AI revenue streams,” he said. “With the release of new AI models to the market, companies will increasingly create independent automated processes in which employees only need to monitor the performance of the AI and direct it towards the best course of action; this is the dawn of a new era of industrialized AI.”
